I got lucky - arrived to blue skies so got the full wow effect of this beautiful beach. Had a little dip and chilled. Was on a roadtrip so didn't stay too long. Worth seeing for sure.
Large carpark, nice views across bay. (To find WAW post drive through first carpark and round corner.)
Beautiful beach. Nice walks further along to the right.
Very nice,
beautiful place and view of Connemara. Healy recommended for visiting!
Really beautiful beach. The coral is very uncomfortable underfoot, but the views make up for it. If you are in the area it is 100% worth the visit. There are also some trails leading away from the beach and other people if you want some quiet time to relax and think.
From a distance one would think its a sandy beach but on close inspection on arrival this beach is like no other.... Covered in crunchy coral. Got to be seen. It was 30degrees in in heatwave the day I was here and the locals were mostly in …
Fabulous beach the coral is unbelievable and the water so clear and lovely walks.
Our hotel recommended we stop on our road trip to Connemara National Park. Glad we did. The views did not disappoint. They have bathrooms too which is nice when you are on the road! Stopped for lunch nearby at the Dutch Hut. Next time we may bring a picnic! Here are some pics from July afternoon.
A gorgeous place for a stroll, picnic and just relaxing.
The weather was lovely and tempting for a swim, although we did see a lot of people on kayaks or paddle boating around this area. …
Best place to have peace of mind. Beautiful location with under sea cores and shells
